STUDENT AWARDS
Travel Awards: Six travel awards of $150 will be awarded to students based on accomplishments and the submitted abstracts. Best Poster Award: Three poster awards of $200 will recognize excellence in research, poster design, and presentation. Guidelines for Oral Presenters: Please bring your presentation on a memory stick and load it on the podium computer before the start of your designated session. Widescreen layout (16:9) for slides is preferred.
Guideline for Poster Presenters: Presenters should have their posters in place in the morning coffee break. Poster session will be at 1PM. The poster boards are about ½ inch thick foam core and we use push pins to hang the posters. Each poster must fit into a 4’ X 4’ space.
Other Information We encourage business formal dress for attendees. The symposium will include both a continental breakfast and lunch. A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn Ames for conference attendees arriving on Sunday, May 10th and departing on Monday, May 11th.
