Spring Symposium 2018

The Great Plains Catalysis Society (GPCS) held the inaugural Spring Symposium on April 18, 2018 in Manhattan, Kansas. About 60 participants from academia and industry attended. 

There were overall 17 talks and 20 posters, including plenary speakers Teh C. Ho (Ciapetta Lecturer)Fabio Ribeiro (Purdue University), Aditya Bhan (University of Minnesota) as well as invited talks given by Byron Johnson (Phillips 66), Max McDaniel (Chevron Phillips Chemical), Brent Shanks (Iowa State), Bala Subramaniam (KU), Keith Hohn (KSU), Alan Allgeier (KU), Bin Liu (KSU), Bin Wang (OU), Steven Crossley (OU), Juan Bravo-Suarez (KU), Marcus Foston (WUSTL), Franklin Tao (KU), Kuizhi Chen (OSU) and Ahmed Jasim (Missouri). 

We appreciate the local organizers and those who helped to chair the sessions. Thank you all for the participation and look forward to working with you toward the next annual meeting.
